Get Started: Top Reasons Why You Might Not Be Able to Launch a Campaign in Metadata

Error Resolutions Guide

Before you start — many launch errors are intermittent. Metadata automatically retries, but a retry isn't always enough — if an experiment shows an error, it's often worth simply relaunching the campaign again. Errors can also clear on their own: an experiment may briefly show an error and then update to Active shortly after, so giving it a little time can help. That said, if an experiment keeps returning an actual error message below, there is a real problem to fix.

Unapproved Convo Ad Sender

Description: The Convo Ad Sender you're attempting to use may not have granted the necessary permissions.

Resolution: Ensure that all permissions are correctly configured for the sender. Double-check the sender settings.

Resolution: Navigate to your LinkedIn Campaign Manager and edit the associated Campaign group to turn off the active objective. Note LinkedIn won't allow adjusting this once it is turned ON so you will need to create a new Campaign Group and re-connect with the newly created Campaign Group.
