Manage campaigns on the Campaigns page

Updated Oct 23, 2026
On this page

The Campaigns page shows how your campaigns perform across your connected ad accounts. You can pause, resume and change budgets here, and turn the Optimizer on for a campaign. To build a campaign, click New Campaign. It opens the Campaign Builder; see Build a campaign in the Campaign Builder.

Choose what you see

  • Scope: Metadata Managed, Natively Managed or All Campaigns.
  • Date range: Last 24 hours, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days or Custom range.
  • Ad channels, Ad accounts and Ad types narrow the list.
  • More filters adds Campaign Objectives, Campaign Status, Custom Metrics Filter, Campaign Start Date and Campaign End Date.
  • Search campaigns finds campaigns by name.

The page remembers your filters between visits.

The table

Campaigns are grouped by channel. Columns are Campaign, Key metric, Status, Ad Account, Currency, Ad Type, Objective, Start, End and Optimizer.

Key metric shows cost per click (CPC). A campaign with no clicks shows cost per thousand impressions (CPM), and one with neither shows cost per conversion (CPA). Green means the cost went down.

Builds from the Campaign Builder appear here too. A saved draft reads Not launched · Draft; click Continue editing to open it. A launch shows its progress. If it fails, click Retry.

Row actions

Click the menu at the start of a row. What you can do depends on the campaign's status:

  • active or with-issues: View Metrics, Pause, Modify Daily Budget, Modify Lifetime Budget, Change Bid Strategy.
  • paused: View Metrics, Unpause.
  • Anything else: View Metrics.

Actions a channel doesn't support don't appear.

Confirm a change

  • Pause asks "Pause this campaign?" Click Pause campaign. Unpause asks "Resume this campaign?" Click Resume campaign.
  • For a budget, enter the new amount and click Continue, then Update budget.
  • For a bid, pick a strategy, enter an amount if it asks for one, click Continue, then Update bid.

Changes apply on the ad platform. If the platform refuses, you see why.

View Metrics

Click View Metrics or a campaign's name to open Campaign performance. It shows:

  • A health label.
  • Tiles for budget, spend, impressions, clicks and conversions.
  • Metrics by campaign structure, Performance trend and Detailed metrics.

Click Visualize under Metrics by campaign structure to see a diagram of the whole campaign. Use Fit to panel to see all of it.

Optimizer

The Optimizer column shows On or Off for each campaign. You can turn it on for active, with-issues and paused campaigns. If your account lets the Optimizer apply changes automatically, turning it on asks "Turn on the Optimizer for {campaign}?"; click Turn on. Turning it off takes effect at once. A campaign in an optimization group shows the group's name instead of a switch.

Below the table, Optimization groups lists your groups. Click New group to create one. See Use the Optimizer.
