Connect HubSpot to MetadataONE

Updated Sep 26, 2026 Metadata Classic version
On this page

One HubSpot connection covers both CRM and marketing automation. CRM brings in contacts, companies and deals for pipeline and revenue attribution. Marketing automation brings in contacts, lists and engagement.

Before you connect

  • A HubSpot user who can authorize apps for your HubSpot account. What Metadata can use depends on your HubSpot subscription and the permissions HubSpot grants.
  • No other CRM connected. HubSpot uses your account's CRM slot, so it can't be connected alongside Salesforce. It can be connected alongside Marketo, Pardot or Eloqua.

Connect

  1. Open the account menu (your account name at the bottom of the left rail) and click Integrations.
  2. Under CRM, click the arrow on the HubSpot row. Review what Metadata will be able to do, tick I have the access and permissions required to connect HubSpot, and click Continue with HubSpot.
  3. Under Enable with this connection, keep Marketing automation, CRM or both ticked. At least one is required.
  4. Sign in to HubSpot in the pop-up and approve the request. The screen shows Waiting for HubSpot authorization… until you finish. If no pop-up opens, allow pop-ups for the site and try again.

Already connected in Classic?

Classic HubSpot connections show Legacy connection · Read-only. Open HubSpot's settings and click Reconnect HubSpot. The reconnect starts with your current capabilities ticked; unticking one removes it after you reconnect. Your Classic connection keeps working until the new sign-in succeeds.
