Connect LinkedIn Ads to MetadataONE

MetadataONE reads your LinkedIn campaign performance and lead form submissions, and can pause campaigns and change budgets and bid strategies.

Before you connect

• A role directly on the ad account: Account Manager, Campaign Manager or Account Billing Admin. Viewer isn't enough, and being in the company's LinkedIn Business Manager isn't enough on its own. To check, open the account in LinkedIn Campaign Manager and click ⚙ > Manage access.
• On the Company Page linked to the ad account: Sponsored Content Poster and Lead Gen Forms Manager. A Page Super Admin already has both.
• The ad account must be linked to a Company Page.

Unlike Metadata Classic, you don't pick a campaign group when connecting.

Connect

1. Open the account menu (your account name at the bottom of the left rail) and click Integrations.
2. Under Ad channels, click the arrow on the LinkedIn Ads row. Review what Metadata will be able to do, tick I have the access and permissions required to connect LinkedIn Ads, and click Continue with LinkedIn Ads.
3. Sign in to LinkedIn in the pop-up and approve the request. The screen shows Waiting for LinkedIn Ads authorization… until you finish. If no pop-up opens, allow pop-ups for the site and try again.
4. When the pop-up closes, LinkedIn Ads Settings opens. Under Ad accounts, tick each account to sync, or click Select all. Each tick saves right away. Click Save to close.

Already connected in Classic?

Your Metadata Classic connection shows up here on its own, read-only, and reporting keeps working. To manage it in MetadataONE, reconnect it: see Manage your integrations in MetadataONE.

Troubleshooting

No ad accounts found

Metadata only lists ad accounts where your login has a direct role. If you used the wrong LinkedIn profile, disconnect and connect again from a private or incognito window.

Authorization was declined

Connect again and approve every permission in the pop-up.
